In this documentary, witness the spiritual and physical journey of the University of Washington’s first canoe family aboard the Willapa Spirit. It’s a story of reclaiming old traditions and starting new ones, and of reconnecting to a heritage that will always be an essential part of the Pacific Northwest.

How does someone afraid of taking an elevator end up strapped upside down in a tiny plane thousands of feet above the ground? I directed this film about Cecilia’s incredible journey to overcome overwhelming adversity and become queen of the skies.
I wrote and directed this film for the University of Washington, their latest Brand Anthem. The goal was to highlight real experiences from real students and faculty about the incredible opportunities available at UW, while also showcasing the unparalleled beauty of the great Pacific Northwest.

AI PROTEIN DESIGN
At the Institute for Protein Design, Nobel Prize winner David Baker and his team break down the process of designing new custom proteins with AI, and how this fascinating technology can be used to solve very real human problems.

I directed this commercial for VRBO/Expedia to depict the importance of getting away from the hectic routines we seem to surround ourselves with. This was shot in the LA subway, which presented an array of new and exiting challenges.
